The General AC2 is a whole house odor absorber unit designed to be installed in the return air duct system of a home or office. There should be an air cleaner installed in front of it so the air is cleaned of particulate matter before it inters the AC2 unit. It is typicaly mounted to the inlet air side of a furnace or air handler. The carbon media must be replaced every 3 months for optimum performance.
