Replacement Armstrong 2011 Inverted Steam Trap. The Armstrong inverted bucket steam trap, model 2011, features a 1/2" pipe connection with a 360° universal connector for easy in-line installation. Inverted bucket traps are a simple leverage system that uses the weight of the bucket to open the valve against pressure. Inverted bucket traps have a high resistance to wear, corrosion, and hydronic shock. The 2011 is stainless steel and has a 250 psi maximum operating pressure. This trap has a capacity for 740 pounds per hour. The traps are designed for service on heat exchange equipment where there is a need to vent air and non-condensable gases quickly. They are a good choice for their ability to purge air, handle dirt, performance under light loads and operate against back pressure. The 2000 Series traps have the option of being furnished with a thermic vent bucket, for high capacity air discharge. This item does NOT include the connector block which is sold separately.
